Beverly K. (Kyner) Spearin, age 87, of Cohasset, formerly of Holbrook, passed away peacefully with family by her side on December 14, 2012. She was the beloved wife of 68 years of Malcolm R. Spearin; the two were in love for over 72 years and were married the night before Malcolms deployment into World War II. Beverly was the loving mother of Thomas A. Spearin of Norwell, Richard A. Spearin of Falmouth, Susan E. Chipman of Cohasset, and Mark J. Spearin of South Port, N.C. She was the adoring grandmother of twelve and the great-grandmother of seventeen. Beverly was the sister of the late Elizabeth Betty Knights of Bridgewater. Beverly was a volunteer at the Cohasset Library and St. Anthony Parish. She was a member of the FISH Program in Florida, donating her time to driving cancer patients to appointments. Beverly worked in human resources for Instron and Dymo, as well as working at Air Exchange and Talbots. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Dec. 21, 2012 at 10 am in St. Anthony Church, Cohasset. Visiting hours on Thursday, Dec. 20, 2012 from 3-7 pm in McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home, 1 Summer St. (across from St. Anthony Church), Cohasset, MA 02025. Interment private.
