Mrs. Spaw was born in Casey County on March 20, 1907 to Marion and Flora Roberts Elmore, both deceased.
She was married to James Spaw, who is also deceased.
Survivors include: one son, Wallace Spaw of Bethelridge; two daughters, Grace Jeannette Spaw of Bethelridge and Willadean Davidson of Hammersville, Ohio; three brothers, Charlie Elmore of Liberty, Ethridge Elmore of Kings Mt., Ky., and Edgar Elmore of Walton, Ky.; one sister, Lucy Vest, Liberty; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
One sister, Rosa Cochran, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at the McKinney-Brown Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 17 at 11 a.m. Bro. Johnny Spaw officiated. Burial was in the Spaw Cemetery.
