Mr. Sparks died Saturday March 3rd at the home of his son, Raymond Sparks in North Muddy township near Kedron. He was born in Jasper county December 5, 1857, a son of John And Elizabeth Sparks, and had been a life long resident of this county. He leaves nine sons and two daughter behind: James Henry of Atwood, IL; Oscar Adolph, Watson, Charles , Raymond, Lola (Sparks) Jourdan of Newton; Eli, Harry, Ross and Chris Sparks of Ithaca, Michigan; and Dollie (Sparks) Brackett of Marine; forty-four grandchildren and many other relative and friends. Three brothers and six sisters preceded him in death
