Funeral for Anna "Seebee" Sparkman Dobyns, 82, of Decatur will be Monday at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. E. T. Waddell officiating.
Burial will be in Roselawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 7 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Dobyns died Friday, Feb. 27, 1998, at Medical Park Convalecent Center. She was born July 28, 1915 in Morgan County to Charles and Elsie Sparkman, was a member of Central Park Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was the widow of John R. Dobyns Sr. and the mother of the late Sue Dobyns Carpenter.
She is survived by one son, Johnny R. Dobyns of Decatur; two daughters, Shirley Dobyns Shell of Somerville and Kathy Dobyns Garrison of Hartselle; five grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Rex Cheatham, Glendon Sparkman, Arnold Shell, Mike Jeffreys, Ronnie Montgomery and Nicky Hackett.
