G. M. SPARK IS DEAD
Well known early day resident of
Wichita dies in New Mexico.
Gerhart M. Spark, 61, member
of the pioneer Spark family of
Wichita, died Monday at his home
in Las Vegas N. M., according to
word received here by relatives. Mr.
Spark was reared in Wichita in the
early days and for many years made
his home in this city. He left
for Missouri 15 years ago and moved
to Las Vegas in 1929.
He is survived by his wife, Al-
bertene; 2 sons Henry Spark and
Edward Spark, Las Vegas; two
daughters, Miss Albertena, Las
Vegas and Mrs F. P. Sullivan, 1259
Wellington Place; and three sisters,
Mrs Al H. Blaze, 2101 Woodland,
Mrs. Henry J Cramer, 1749 South
Main, Mrs. Elmer Hobson, 1310
South Topeka.
The body will be brought to
Wichita for funeral services and
burial.
Correction to obit: Gerhart's wife's
name was Gesina (Dena).
