NETTIE BARNABEI, (nee SOUTHARD) "JANE" - of Somers Point passed away on February 12, 2012. She was born in Martinsburg, WV and moved to Philadelphia around age 8. A graduate of Overbrook High in Philadelphia Class of 1951, she worked and retired from Pennsylvania Railroad and Conrail. She also worked at the Somers Point branch of Atlantic County Library.
Predeceased by Husband Serafino Barnabei and son Derek Rocco Barnabei.
Survived by son Craig Barnabei (Nicole) of Somers Point; sister Alfreda Gifford of Morgantown, PA and Coonie Powell of Williamstown, NJ; Loving Grandmother to Serafino Rocco Barnabei III of California, Derek S. Barnabei and Matthew Barnabei of Somers Point and many nieces and nephews.
Viewing will be held on Friday, February 17th from 10:00am-12:00pm at the George H. Wimberg Funeral Home, 1707 New Rd., Linwood where funeral service will be held at 12:00pm. Burial will follow at Atlantic County Veterans Cemetery, Estell Manor.
