Thelma E. (Foulks) Southard of Hainesport died Saturday, July 3, 2010, at Samaritan Hospice in Mount Holly. She was 90.

Born in New Egypt, she was a longtime resident of Hainesport.

Thelma had worked at W.T. Grants in Mount Holly and retired as a bookkeeper for the Burlington County Library in Mount Holly.

She was a member of the Mount Holly Methodist Church.

Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Southard, and by two brothers, Ivins and Donald Foulks.

She is survived by three brothers and a sister, Earl Foulks of New Egypt, C. Russell Foulks and wife, Phyllis, of Jacobstown, Shirley Fox of Mount Holly and William Foulks of Philadelphia; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Thelma will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 7, at Tilghman Funeral Home, 52 Main St., in New Egypt, with burial to follow in Emleys Hill Cemetery in Cream Ridge. Calling hours will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
