Chris died in Marion General Hospital.
He was born in Marion, the son of Larry and Patricia (Lewton) Soultz.
He graduated with the class of 1998 at Marion High School, where he liked to talk and easily made friends in every class that he attended.
After high school, Chris enlisted in the Marine Corps where he did his basic training in California and then completed the special SERES Training in Maine. He married Molly Wiegand in July 1999. They have two children, Austin and Corey.
