Marilyn, 80, died on Sunday. Marilyn was born the youngest daughter of Theodore and Alma Sonnenberg.

She graduated from Manistee High School and worked for Consumers Power Company as a secretary. She was offered a transfer to Lansing where she lived the rest of her life. She worked for 15 years at the UAW Local 724 Federal Credit Union and made countless friends with her "gift to gab."
Regardless of her declining health issues, her love for her family and friends was her number one priority.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred and Leona with one surviving sister, Charlotte.

Surviving is her husband, Miller; daughter Cheryl (Jim) Farhat, Sue Ellen Abraham and Mark Abraham (Lisa Peck); grandchildren Michael (Kellie) and Jeffrey Farhat; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Thursday at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel, in Lansing.

Cremation took place and a private service in Manistee will be held.

The family would like to thank the staff of Tendercare West for their compassionate care of our mother during her last week of life.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Eaton County Meals on Wheels.
