Irene was the daughter of Albert and Ada (nee Prestridge) Solomon. She passed away at Mount Grant General Hospital in Nevada at age 85. She previously had lived in Delta Junction (Alaska) and in Roseville (California). She was survived by her son L. R. Kimbrell, 5 grandchildren, 15 g-grandchildren, and 2 g-g-grandchildren. Irene was predeceased by her husband Silas in 1983 and her daughter Betty Fulkerson in 1990.
