Betty Joe Holten, age 70, passed away at her home in Jones, OK. Betty was born on October 16, 1945 in Chandler, OK to Joseph and Grace (Edmondson) Soderstrom. Betty was a collector...salt and pepper shakers, coffee cups, and antiques. She did not like to cook. Betty enjoyed listening to music especially old time country music. She loved horses and was devoted to taking care of them and working with them. Betty was an avid horse racing follower. Betty is preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Grace Sodrstrom. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, a son, Jeff Holten; four brothers, George Soderstrom Carl Soderstrom, Randy Soderstrom, Dan Soderstrom; three sisters, Inga Iler, Ila Nestra, Mary Ann Martin. Graveside services are 1:00 pm Monday, September 12, 2016 at Jones IOOF Cemetery, Jones, OK.
