Debra Kay Snyder Applegate, 56, of Pampa, died October 26, 2014 in Amarillo.

Services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, October 30, 2014, at Carmichael-Whatley Colonial Chapel, with Rev. Richard Bartel, associate pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Graveside services will be at 4:00 PM Thursday at Englewood Cemetery in Slaton, with Rev. Dallas Stringer, pastor of Calvary Baptist Church, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Directors.

Mrs. Applegate was born April 13, 1958 in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. She had been a resident of Pampa since 2004. Debra married Kenneth Wayne Applegate on August 12, 1977 in Slaton. He preceded her in death on March 31, 2012. She enjoyed going to garage sales, collecting antiques and restoring wood furniture. Debra had a booth at Trash & Treasure Shop for several years.

Survivors include her son, Jason Wayne Applegate and wife Monica of Pampa; her daughter, Christie Applegate of Lubbock; two sisters, Robbie Dorman of Slaton, and Tammy Hitchcock of Longview; two brothers, Leland Hart and wife Kathy of Midland, and David Punneo and wife Robin of Tow; and four grandchildren, Jessica Applegate, Brian Mattox, Ashley Mattox and Ryan Mattox.

Memorials may be made to a charity of choice.
