Mary Jane Rearick, 62, Montandon
MONTANDON — Mary Jane (Snyder) Rearick, 62, of Housel's Run Road, formerly of Northumberland and Lewisburg, passed away on Sunday, May 9, 2010, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
She was born July 14, 1947, in Lewisburg, a daughter of the late Margaret Jane Snyder, who preceded her in death in 1991. On June 24, 1989, she married Harold Rearick in Faith Chapel, White Deer.
She was a 1945 graduate of Lewisburg High School.
Mary was employed by the JPM Co., Lewisburg for 35 years and as a shift supervisor for the last year.
She enjoyed traveling, baking, cooking, sewing and embroidery. She also was a proud organ donor, continuing her generosity.
In addition to her husband of 21 years, she is survived by her family which she adored, one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Tammy Rauch, of New Columbia; two daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca and Vincent Otuszewski, of New Columbia, and Cathy and Stephane Meriaux, of Lewisburg; three stepchildren, Kathryn Roshon, of Sunbury, Todd Rearick, of Montandon, and Holly Funk, of Trout Run; seven grandchildren, Vanessa and Felica Varndell, Erica Caris, Chayton and Dawson Shively, Nevin and Nathan Rauch; four stepgrandchildren, Olivia Roshon, Justin and Dillon Rearick and Amanda Funk; two sisters, Judith Knowles, of Lewisburg, and Edna Miller, of Enola; one brother, Robert Troutman, of Milton; her best friend, Gloria Haire, of Middleburg; and her beloved cat, Maurey.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and William Snyder, and one stepson, Chad Rearick.
Friends and family may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Joseph W. Epler Funeral Home, Northumberland, where the funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. Wendle Lahr officiating.
Interment will follow in Pomfret Manor Cemetery, Sunbury.
