Carroll W. Snyder, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother was finally released from his long, hard struggle in this life. He fought hard but finally could fight no longer and gave in to the effects of Emphysema and other complications. He dearly loved his wife and family and was a good example to them all.

Carroll enjoyed the outdoors and spent many hours with his family and friends fishing, hunting, camping, and hunting with his dogs. He loved to travel and took many long trips with his family and later with his wife. We'll miss him so much -- rest well beloved.

He passed away Wednesday, March 3, 1993 at his home.

He was born December 15, 1930 in Oakley, Utah a son of Thomas Earl and Veda Wilde Snyder. On October 6, 1956 he married Bonnie Jean Siddoway in Salt Lake City. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

He was a member of the LDS Church, Coalville 2nd Ward where he was a High Priest, home teacher, and had worked in the genealogy extraction program. He attended school in the South Summit School District. He worked in timbering, tunneling and construction. He worked for Crandall Walker Ford as a mechanic and most recently worked for the Utah Dept. of Transportation. He was also a member of the American Legion in Coalville.

Surviving are his wife, Coalville; one daughter and two sons, Sheri Ann (Paul) Farrell; John Faron (Christi) Snyder all of Coalville; Donald Earl (Orlene) Snyder, Henefer; 11 grandchildren; and one brother, Sherdon Snyder, Heber City. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Orlo and Lindon, and two sisters Fanee Johnson and rhonda Briggs.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 8, 1993 at 1 p.m. in the Coalville Stake Chapel with Bishop Clint Staples officiating. Friends may call at the Walker Mortuary in Coalville, Sunday from 7-9 p.m. and Monday from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment, Coalville Cemetery.
