Freeport - Lois Evelyn Snow Douglass, 87, died on February 25, 2014 at the Freeport Nursing Home. She was born at Orr's Island on July 30, 1926, the daughter of Henry and Eleanor (Leeman) Snow. She attended Orr's Island school, Brunswick High School and Arlington, MA High School. Over the years she was employed at Poland Spring Inn, Princeton Inn and Jersey Bell Telephone. She previously resided in Princeton Junction and Mountain Lake, New Jersey where she leaves many dear friends. In later years she resided in Brunswick.

She was predeceased by her parents, Henry and Eleanor Snow, her former husband, Norman Douglass, her sister, Lucille Moore and great nephew, Aaron Moore. She is survived by her sister, Lorraine Goldrup (David), nieces, Linda Goldrup and Gayle Elliot of Bridgton, her nephews, Douglass Moore (Terry) of Durham, great nephews, Douglass Moore of Lisbon Falls, Adam Moore of West Bowdoin and Ryan Elliot of Scarborough and many cousins.

Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Brackett Funeral Home, 29 Federal Street, Brunswick. Spring Interment will be in Orr's Island Cemetery.
