Mary C Davidson Frymire, 88, of Penn Hall, Chambersburg, and formerly of Newburg held in the New Hope United Methodist Church, Newburg.
She died Friday, Oct 10, 1997, in Chambersburg Hospital.
Born May 11, 1909 in Newburg, she was a daughter of the late Wilbur C and Carrie Louella Kohr Snoke and the widow of Roy M Davidson and Vernon Frymire.
Member of the New Hope Methodist Church and their Bible Sunday school class and the Ladies Aid Society, AARP No. 2525, Shippensburg; Farm Women Group #19; and she made many quilts and donated them to the Salvation Army.
Survivors: Kenneth W Davison of Reistertown, MD; daughters Fredith L Diehl, Rhonda L Carbaugh, Betty M Chamberland; stepdaughter Nina Faye Brandt; stepsons Donald Frymire, Vernon Frymire Jr of Thomas, OK.; brothers Charles Snoke, Walter Snoke, Jay Snoke; sister Caroline Myers; nephew who they raised, Mr Jay Frank Davidson; 26 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The Rev John L Shellenberger and Rev J Roy Bower officated, with burial in Otterbein Cemetery, Lurgan Twp.
Arrangements handled by Fogelsanger-Bricker Funeral Home, Shippensburg.
