Interment followed in the Coaltown Cemetery in Purvis with Rev. L. F. Rogers, Jr. officiating the services.
A native of Tuscaloosa, ALa., she was a homemaker. A member of the Methodist faith, she died on May 24, 2004.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Earnest Baker; a son, John M. Baker, and a daughter, Peggy Cowart.
She is survived by three daughters, Doris (Harvey) Hutson of Benndale, Barbara Reeves of Lucedale and Patsy (Paul) Reeves of Leakesville; a daughter-in-law, LaDonis Baker of Benndale; 13 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
George County Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
