CASHMERE _ Clementine N. Snelson, 81, a longtime resident of Cashmere, died Saturday morning, Jan. 22, 1994, in the Cashmere Convalescent Center.
She was born March 19, 1912, in Missouri Valley, Iowa, to Wilhelm and Carrie (Rowe) Nelson. She attended schools in Missouri Valley and married Desmond Lewis there in 1931.
The family moved to the Cashmere area in 1939. She married Paul Smith in 1954 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. He preceded her in death in 1956. She married Herman Snelson on June 5, 1979, in Cashmere.
Mrs. Snelson worked at local restaurants before starting her career at the Cashmere Laundry, where she worked for many years.
Survivors include her husband, at the home; a son, Clifford Lewis, Peshastin; and one granddaughter. She also was preceded in death by two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are by Braun Funeral Home, Cashmere.
