Dale (Sneed) Jones Boatman
BOATMAN, DALE JONES - age 73, of Corryton, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at her home. She was born August 10, 1940 in Black Mountain, North Carolina, the daughter of Arthur and Iona Johnson Sneed.
Mrs. Boatman retired from Oak Ridge Associated Universities, where she was an accounting assistant. After retirement she worked as a cashier at the Midway IGA in Corryton. She was a member of Black Oak Heights Baptist Church of Knoxville. Mrs. Boatman was an avid animal lover and enjoyed traveling and cooking.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Anne Sneed Newton; and her first husband, Edward E. Jones.
