Bernie enjoyed playing bingo with friends and traveling to Florida to sit in the sunshine.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur J. Smyklo, and a son, Andrew "Drew" Smyklo.

Bernie is survived by three sisters, Bonnie Schauer, Brenda Brooks and Elaine Smith; one brother, Billy; four children Debra Thacker (Roland), Diane Sutherland (Pete), Kevin Smyklo (Lori) and Jeffrey Smyklo; 11 grandchildren.

Interment, Wintergreen Gorge Cemetery.
