Our sweet mother, Louise Smoot Hanson Stringham slipped from this life into the next on August 26, 2013 surrounded by her loving family at her home in Bountiful, Utah.
Louise was born on May 8, 1913 in Provo, Utah to Horace Alma Smoot and Edna Louise Stubbs. She was the 5th child of 10 children. She married Ray M. Hanson. They are the proud parents of two children. Ray passed away in 1966. She later married J. Rodney Stringham.
Louise is survived by her daughter, Mary Louise Hanson-Smith; son, William Ray Hanson;many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, and younger sister Donna Faye Bott. She was preceded in death by Ray and Rodney, her parents, eight of her siblings.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Bountiful 7th LDS Ward, 1250 South Main Street. Friends and family may call Thursday, August 29, 2013 from 6-8pm at Russon Brothers Bountiful Mortuary, 295 N. Main and an hour prior to services at the church. Interment – Bountiful City Cemetery.
