Carmen J Henderson, 87, of Hewitt, passed away Sunday, August 12, 2012, at Providence Hospital. Services will be at 11 a.m., Tuesday, August 14, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Chapel with the Rev. David Hampton officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, August 13, at Wilkirson-Hatch-Bailey Funeral Home.
Carmen was born in Malvern, Arkansas, to the late Frank Porterfield Henderson and Ada Mary Etta Pilgreen Henderson. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1943 to 1946. He was a 1951 graduate of The University of Texas and was employed by Hughes Aircraft Corporation for 20 years.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Orlena Henderson.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews; and a special friend, Joan Duhr.
