Mrs. Smiser [sic] of Paris Dies After Lingering Illness
PARIS — Mrs. Linnie Smiser [sic], 95, of Paris died at 12:3 o'clock this morning in the Pleasant View Rest Home, east of Paris, where she had been under care for several years.
Born in Monroe County in July, 1880, she was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. James W. Arnold. Mrs. Smiser [sic] was married to Lou D. Smiser [sic], who died several years ago. She was the last survivor of her immediate family.
Among the survivors are nieces and nephews including Mrs. Harold Arnold, Hannibal; Ivan Arnold, Burlington, Iowa, and Mrs. Leslie Inglis, state Florida, and several cousins including Jess Arnold, Miss Corrine Stone and Roe Stone, all of Paris.
The body is at the Agnew Funeral Home in Paris. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. tomorrow there. Burial will be in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Paris.
