The funeral of Mrs. Ed Smith, who died at the residence of her son in Omaha, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock from the Soldiers' Home chapel, and interment will be made in the Home cemetery. Mrs. Smith was an old resident of Grand Island and the obsequies will no doubt be largely attended.

The remains of Mrs. Walter Smith were brought from Omaha last night and this afternoon the funeral service was conducted from the chapel of the Soldiers' Home. Interment was made at the Soldiers' Home cemetery beside the remains of Mr. Smith, which were laid to rest not much more than a month ago.
