Omahan 65 Years Succumbs at 77
Mrs. Rose Ann Connolly 77, mother of James J. and Cornelius F. Connolly, Omaha attorneys, died of a heart ailment Monday night at a local hospital after an illiness of four months.
A resident of Omaha for 65 years, Mrs. Connolly for 30 years operated a dresssmaking shop in the old Continental block near Fifteenth and Douglas streets. She had lived at 1801 North Eighteenth street.
Surviving besides the sons are a sister, Mrs. Agnes Byrnes, Pittsburg, Pa.; a half-sister, Mrs. Theresa Kinney and a half-brother, Edward F. Smith, both of Omaha.
Mrs. Connolly had been active in the St. Vincent Home for the Aged association and in Catholic charities.
Funeral services will be Wednesday from the residence at 8:30 a.m. to Holy Family Church at 9. Burial will be in St. Mary's cemetery. The St. Vincent Home for the Aged association will meet at the residence tonight at 7:30 to recite the rosary. Hoffmann morituary is in charge of arrangements.
