Grace Clark, age 84, was privileged to gain entrance into Heaven on December 21, 2013. She was born in Jackson, MS on August 30, 1929 to Ollie Clifton Smith and Tinye Lenora Herron Smith. Grace was a dedicated homemaker until her children were grown. When she entered the workplace she worked several local retail locations. She found home at Fads & Frames in Clinton, MS where she worked over 20 years as Office Manager. She never met a stranger and was a fixture at Fads until her retirement at the age of 81.
Grace was known for her love of flowers and got great pleasure of giving them to others. She was an avid bowler until her late 70s.
Grace is preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Dorothy Kelly of Jackson, MS and James Smith of Scottsboro, AL; and the love of her life, E.D. Clark, Jr.
She is survived by: children; William Harrell Clark (Linda) of Moss Point, MS, Harry Clark of Clinton, MS, and Ann Ballard (Ken) of Clinton; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Sunday, December 22, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00pm. Funeral Service will be Monday, December 23, 2013 from the chapel of Lakewood Funeral Home with visitation beginning at 12:30pm. Interment and graveside services will follow in Lakewood Memorial Park.
