Thomas C. Smith II, of Pembroke, passed away Aug. 26, 2012. He was 61 years old. He was the beloved husband of Jeanne Smith; loving father of Amy Smith of Hanson and her fiancee William Mattie, Jodi Buccheri and her husband Stephen of Pembroke and Daniel Smith and his wife Keavy of Framingham; son of the late Thomas C. and Rita Smith; brother of James Smith of Plymouth; cherished grandfather of Gianna and Rosalie. Thomas is also survived by his extended family and his friends. Thomas is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served in Vietnam. He loved his job, and worked for Sagamore Plumbing as a plumber for 16 years. Visiting hours will be held Wednesday, Aug. 29, from 4-8 p.m. at the Shepherd Funeral Home, 7 Mattakeesett St. (Rte. 14), Pembroke. A funeral service will be held at First Church in Pembroke, Thursday, Aug. 30, at 10 a.m. Interment will be at the Center Cemetery in Pembroke.
