Agnes M. Bohne, a lay worker in the archdiosese here, died Saturday after a long illness at St. Martin's Home, operated by the Little Sisters of the Poor, where she lived for about five years. She was 76.
A memorial service for Mrs. Bohne, who formerly made her home in the 900 block St. Charles avenue, will be held in the chapel of the Little Sisters of the Poor, 601 Maiden Choice lane, at at time to be announced.
Mrs. Bohne was a lay member of the Mount Carmel Order for many years and worked in Baltimore area parishes. Last employed as a clerk for Sears Roebuck & Co., Mrs. Bohne retired in the 1970's.
Originally from Littlestown, Pa., Mrs. Bohne came to Baltimore to work more than 50 years ago. Her husband, Christian F. Bohne, a retired clerk with the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad died in 1958.
Mrs. Bohne is survived by a daughter, Brenda Schutz, of Baltimore, and six sisters, Kathleen Jay, of Annapolis, Pauline Will, Romaine Clingan, Margaret Baker and Cosma Zumbrum, all of Littlestown, and Ardella Wildasin, of Hanover, Pa.
Two brothers, Carl Smith, of Hanover and Robert Smith, of Littlestown, also survive.
