Tonya knew from an early age “she was born to sing!”. She started out by singing in nightclubs before she was even old enough to even be there. It didn’t matter where or when, she just wanted to sing. Since she was a single mother with a six year old, she knew nightclub life was not the life she wanted for her child and herself. She met her husband Dan in 1979, and her life took a drastic turn first by accepting Christ as her Savior. Dan and Tonya were married and started their new life by forming 'The Last Light Band'. She became a dedicated musician using her talent, her passion, and her life experience to inspire and encourage others singing songs that tell a story of real life experiences, struggles, and victories for God's glory from 1980-2011. Even after death she continues to inspire many through her timeless music!
