Mrs. Nancy Smith Bradley, age 82, widow of Clarence Everett Bradley, passed away Saturday, June 20th, 2009 at the Central Baptist Hospital in Lexington, KY, the result of complications from .

She was born June 5th, 1927 in Gum Sulpher, KY, to Elias Jackson Smith and Lucy Jane Ausmus Smith. She was a member of Brodhead Christian Church. She was a retired Custodian for Brodhead Elem. School, and a homemaker. Her hobbies and interests were sewing, gardening, reading, and watching Judge Judy.

She was united in holy matrimony on October 22nd, 1943 to Clarence Everett Bradley and from that union came three children, Ronnie, Cathy and Jane.

Survivors include her three children, Ronnie(Brenda)Bradley of Brodhead; Cathy(Denton)Owens of Mt. Vernon; Jane(Michael) McClure of Brodhead; six grandchildren Chris(Debbie)Owens, Ron Bradley, Micah Owens, Andrea Owens, Kyle McClure, Anna McClure. One great-grandchild, Danielle Owens. Three sisters Agnes Howard of Crab Orchard, Pauline Thompson of Preachersville, and Elnora Burke of Gum Sulpher. Two sisters-in-law Mary Smith, and Betsy Smith both of Stanford.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence "Everett" Bradley, and two brothers, Homer Smith and E.J. Smith.
