Died on a Sunday morning while attending services with his family at Calvary Baptist Church. Served in the U.S. Navy during World War II on the USS Gamble and the USS Monadock. He received his associate degree in Arts at the Le Tour Neau Technical Institute in Longview. Worked for Zimco Electric for 29 years, retiring in 1988. He was a member of the High Sky Strollers, National Campers on Mission and a volunteer for the Odessa Crisis Center. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
