David Henry Smith, 77, of Harker Heights, Texas, and formerly of Normal, died Aug. 16, 2010, in Killeen, Texas.
He was born Nov. 21, 1932 in Woodson to Winona F. and David C. Smith. He married Lorna L. McMullin on Sept. 7, 1958 in Champaign. She died Aug. 15, 2003. He married Sandra Montesa on Feb. 20, 2009 in Killeen. She survives.
He is also survived by three daughters, Lesa (Robert) Dillon, Bloomington; Holly (David) Miller, Harker Heights, Texas and Angela (Ralph) Hernandez, Moody, Texas; five grandchildren, Michelle, David, Jennifer, Kelly and Samantha and five great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Austin, Dillon, Hailey and Molly Grace.
He served in the U.S. Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War.
