Mrs. Clines died Sunday, April 11, in Killeen.
She was born May 4, 1961, in Waco to Ethel Mae Massiegill and Tommy D. Smith. She was a member of The New Zion Baptist Church in Waco. She finished her education at McGregor High School in 1980. In 1989 she moved to Copperas Cove and became a certified nursing assistant. She worked for 17 years at the Wind Crest Rehab and Nursing Center and five years at Hill Country Living Center in Copperas Cove. She married Jerry Clines on Sept. 12, 2002, in Killeen.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Gary Lavell Hicks Jr. of Killeen; four brothers, Michael W. Slaughter of Waco, Theodore T. Slaughter Jr. of Grand Prairie, William E. Johnson Jr. of Fort Worth and John F. Johnson of Rockwall.
