Born October 29, 1923, in Windsor Twp., she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Hester J. (Leed) Smith.
Mrs. Bowman enjoyed boating, fishing, playing cards, camping, and taking trips in the travel trailer. She also liked spending time with family and friends.
Surviving are sisters, Lillian Smith and Evelyn Silar; brothers, Joseph Smith and Carlton Smith; sister-inlaw, Dottie Gross; brother-inlaw, Fleet Bowman; nieces, Beverly Nardone, Joann Prall, Diane Knaper, Betsy Combs, and Frances Leibhart; and nephews, Willis Smith, Toby Goodling, Steven Smith, Kent Smith, and Jay Silar.
Interment will be in Susquehanna Memorial Gardens, York.
