Reta was born in Portland, Oregon on November 22, 1930 to Ben Smith and Florence Sparlin Smith. Reta was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Bob Elliott. Reta spent some of her younger years growing up on a family farm in the Grants Pass, Oregon area with her three brothers: Gerald, Lee, and Ivan. She was full of life and always up for an adventure.
After Marrying Bob, Reta settled into being a wife and a mother. Reta loved doing yardwork and had flower gardens everywhere.
Reta is survived by her daughter Elaine Nelson; nieces Penny, Terry, and Delsey; nephews Jerry, Grayson, Keith, Rusty, Greg, and Jimmy; grandchildren Katrina, Krystle, and Ronnie; and two great-grandchildren.∼ELLIOTT, HYLA RETA
