DECATUR - Frances Ann Campbell, 57, of Arvada, Colo., went to be with her Lord and savior after a long and courageous battle with kidney disease 9:40 p.m. Wednesday (Oct. 22, 2003) in Exempla Lutheran Nursing Home, Arvada.
Graveside services will be 1 p.m. Tuesday in Point Pleasant Cemetery, Long Creek. Visitation will be 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, Mount Zion. Memorials: National Kidney Foundation or Scleroderma Foundation.
Ms. Campbell was born Sept. 12, 1946, in Decatur, the daughter of Arthur E. and Helen A. Riddle Smith. She was a 1964 graduate of Lakeview High School and a 1965 graduate of Decatur School of Practical Nursing. She formerly worked as a nurse for St. Mary's Hospital and continued her nursing vocation in Colorado.
Surviving are husband, David; parents, Arthur and Helen Smith of Decatur; son, Joel D. Campbell of Lakewood, Colo.; daughters, Laura Jordan and husband Tommy of Oviedo, Fla.; Anna Campbell of Parker, Colo.; brothers, Ron Smith and companion Deborah Lawson of Stonington; Art Smith Jr. of Decatur; sister, Linda Riley and husband Monte of Mount Zion; special friend, Judy Johnson of Lakewood, Colo.; grandchildren, Patrick and T.J. Jordan of Oviedo, Fla.; beloved uncle, Red Riddle of Decatur; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents.
Ann was loved very much and will be truly missed by all her family and friends
