Roseville--Nannie E. Carrico, 90, of Oak Glen Nursing Home in Coal Valley, formerly of Roseville, died at 6:40 p.m. Friday at the Lutheran Hospital in Moline.
Born Nov. 8, 1892 in Raywick, Ky., to Joseph and Anna Logsdon Smith, she married J. Wallace Carrico in Bardstown, Ky. Jan. 29, 1913. He died 10 September 1972.
Surviving are two sons, George M. Carrico of Knoxville, and James W. Carrico,Jr. of Denton, Texas; four daughters, Ann Bridges of Rock Island, Peggy Wilson of Kansas City, Mo., Ginger Babbitt of Galesburg, and Betty Higham of East Moline; one sister, Sister Mary Raymond of Maple Mount, Ky.; nine grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was a Roseville and Galesburg resident for many years.
She attended the Corpus Christi Catholic Church in Galesburg.
Services were held at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel in Galesburg; The Rev. Rick Pilger officiated.
Burial in Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Galesburg.
