Martha Sue Spicer, 85, of Louisville died January 15, 2012 at the Clay County Hospital in Flora.

Mrs. Spicer was born Nov. 28, 1926 in Clay County, the daughter of Elzo Robert and Mayme Jane Jones Smith. She married Robbert Farris and he passed away in 1979. She later married Oliver Spicer June 6, 1980 in Louisville.

She was a custodian for North Clay School District in Louisville and a member of the Louisville United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Richard Leon Farris; two daughters, Jean White and Brenda Coleman; 15 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, a sister, Venata Hagen; a granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; and one great-great-grandson.

Funeral services were held at Neal Funeral Home in Louisville. Burial was in Orchard Hill Cemetery.
