Memorial Services for Mr John Millard Smith, 44, of Blanchard will be held Monday, October 20, 1986, at 7pm at the Blanchard Church of the Nazarene. Burial will be on the island of Maui in Hanna, Hawaii. Services are under the direction of Nakamuras Mortuary in Hawaii.
Mr Smith died Friday, October 17, 1986 in San Antonio, Texas following a lengthy illness. He was a member of St Pius X Catholic Church, a veteran of vietnam, retired from US Navy as Sr Chief Petty Officer in December, 1977.
Survivors: wife, Hanna Ala Akoi Smith, stepson, Ellery Akoi, Parents, Mr and Mrs james Millard Smith, three brothers, James Allen Smith, Daniel Ellils Smith, and Morris Leon Smith; grandmother, Rettie Mae Taylor and several nieces and nephews.
