Mrs. Massey
Services for Mrs. Ovida Smith Massey, 49, who died Friday in the Houston County Hospital, were held Sunday in the Church of the Nazarene, with burial in Perry Memorial Gardens. Rev. W.W. Thompson officiated.
Pallbearers named.
Mrs. Massey, a native of Maryville, Tenn., had lived here 12 years, moving from Unadilla. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include five daughters [all named]; a son [named]; two sisters, Mrs. Joella Hickman of Cleveland, Tenn., and Mrs. Evelyn Haynes of Reidsville, N.C.; three brothers, Kenneth Smith, Howard Smith and Jack Smith, all of Robinsville, N.C.; and her mother, Mrs. Stella Smith of Cleveland, Tenn.
Watson-Hunt Funeral Home was in charge.
