Judith A. Smith Dotson, 72, of Wellsburg, W.Va., was called home by her Lord and Savior on Dec. 30, 2012.

She was born on March 13, 1940, in Ohio County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Earnest A. and Ruth L. Cowan Smith. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Wellsburg, and had been formerly employed by Darryl's IGA.

She is survived by her children, Ernie Dotson of Marietta, Ohio, Tim Dotson (Wanda) and Stacy Hankins, both of Richmond, Va., Mike Dotson (Ila) of Benwood, Valerie Clay (Nate) of Charleston, W.Va., Vickie (Aaron) Mace of Washington, W.Va. and John Dotson of Wellsburg; three brothers, Jerry Smith of Wellsburg, Terry Smith of Follansbee, W.Va. and Jim Smith of Rock Hill, S.C.; one sister, Darlene Hinkle of Warwood, W.Va.; 15 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Pike St., south Parkersburg, with Pastor Arthur Wells. Interment will follow at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Mineral Wells. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until time of the service at the funeral home.
