Roberta Anne "Bobbie" Budesheim, 52, of Washington Boro, passed peacefully surrounded by her family Tuesday evening in Arbor View at Willow Valley. She was married 31 years to her husband John J. "Lunk" Budesheim whom survives. Born in Columbia, she was the daughter of the late William F. Sr. and Anne M. Sulosky Smith.
Known to her family and friends as "Agg" she worked for 22 years as a computer analyst in the corporate office of Willow Valley. A member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Columbia, she was belonged to the Ladies Auxiliary of the VFW Post 2435, Columbia; former Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Post 2294, Columbia and volunteered her time to many area non profits. She graduated from Manheim Central High School in 1978. Bobbie enjoyed gardening, bird watching, traveling and hanging out with her dogs "Copper Girl" and "Gypsy Rose."
In addition to her husband are her siblings William F. "Bumps" Smith, Jr. Columbia; Joseph R. "Hose" Smith and his wife Amy, Hallam and Susan M. wife of Robert Ruggieri, Ronks. Her nephews William F. Smith, III; Alexander J. Smith; Nathan W. Smith and mother-in-law Ruth V. Budesheim of Washington Boro also survive.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held from Holy Trinity Catholic Church, Fourth and Cherry Sts. Columbia PA on Monday at 11:00Am with the Very Rev. Kenneth F. Lawrence, Celebrant. Final Commendation and Farewell in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the Clyde W. Kraft Funeral Home, Inc. 519 Walnut St. Columbia PA on Sunday from 1:00Pm until 3:00Pm (recitation of the Rosary at 2:30Pm) and on Monday at the church from 10:00Am until 10:45Am. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Liver Transplant Gift Fund at Johns Hopkins. In the memo line of the check, reference Roberta A. Budesheim.
