Patricia Gail 'Pat' Hauser, 68, Altoona, formerly of State College and Clearfield, died Mon., Jan. 4 at NYU Medical Center, New York, N.Y. She was born in Clearfield, daughter of the late Louis Smith and Martha Smith Russler. She married John Hauser Jr. Aug. 14, 1993, in Altoona; formerly married to Ed Plessinger. Survived by husband; three sons: Brian Plessinger, Lima, Peru; Doug Plessinger and wife, Michele, Cincinnati, OH, and Craig Plessinger, Monroe, NC; two step daughters: Lisa Harrington and husband, Bill, State College and Debbie Demi and husband, Jeff, West Chester; 14 grandchildren: Luke, Zac, Jake, Josh, Talyn, Noah and Karis Demi of West Chester, Adam, Kelly, Abbey and Julie Harrington of State College, Justin Plessinger, Chandler, AZ, and Max and Ben Plessinger, Cincinnati, OH; sister, Peggy Vroman, Bellefonte; and brother-in-law, Delbert Vroman, State College. Predeceased by sisters: Jean and Helen Smith; and granddaughter, Destiny Hope Demi. Pat was a graduate of State College High School. She worked for H&H for 25 years as the operations mgr. and was co-owner upon her retirement. She was a member of the United Methodist Church. E. Merrill Smith Funeral Home, Altoona. Private interment, Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
