Mamie A. Brady, of New Oxford, entered into God's eternal care to be in Heaven with her loved ones, June 26, 2009, in York.

Born April 2, 1931, in Hanover, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Almena Smith.

Surviving are two sons, Fred Brady and Greg Brady, both of Hanover; six daughters, Gloria Zak and husband, Steve of Columbia, MD, Diane Alwine and husband, Andy of McSherrystown, Sharon Hockensmith and husband, Mark of Hanover, Dot Gebhart and husband, Kev of Gettysburg, Jen Noel and husband, Mike of Hanover, and Christine Johnson and husband, Jake of Hanover; 20 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Darlene Funk of Hanover; and two brothers, Kenneth Smith of Gettysburg and Charles "Joe" Smith of Hanover.

She was preceded in death by a son, Bruce "Butch" Brady; and by several brothers and sisters.

Interment was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Edgegrove.
