Mrs. James M. Decker
Mrs. Helen M. Decker, 80, York Springs, died Saturday at 12:20 p.m. at the Hanover General Hospital.
She was born in Huntington Twp. and was married to James M. Decker who died in 1958. She was a daughter of the late John W. and Dora (Warner) Smith. She was a member of Chapel Hill Church of God and the Ladies' Missionary Society of the church. Mrs. Decker was also a member of the WCTU of York Springs and was employed at the Musselman plant in Gardners for a number of years.
Surviving are three sons, Lloyd Decker, York Springs R. 1; John Decker, East Berlin R. 2; Clair Decker, York Springs; four daughters, Mrs. Granpas Hoopert, York; Mrs. Earl Cleaver, York R. 1; Mrs. Earl Cleaver, York R. 1; Mrs. Merritt Thomas, East Berlin R. 2; Mrs. Mabel Smith, New Oxford R. 2; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Pittenturf Funeral Home, York Springs. Rev. D. G. Wells and Rev. Donald Roemer will officiate. Interment will be in Hampton Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeralhome tonight between 7 and 9 p.m.
