Edna Mae Blake, 83, of Lebanon died Sunday at Samaritan Lebanon Community Hospital.
Edna was born in Vandervoort, Ark., the daughter of Isaac and Eva (Cody) Smith. She lived in Smithville, Okla., throughout her childhood, where she attended school. She married Cletus Clifford Blake in Mena, Ark., on Jan. 21, 1942. They moved to Lebanon in 1948, where she had resided since. Edna worked at the Lebanon Community Hospital as an assistant dietician in the kitchen until 1973.
She enjoyed crocheting and reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus, in 2008; brothers Allen, Tommy and Charlie; and sisters Mary, Ida and Edith.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Sharon Harrison of Springfield; brothers Frank Smith of Springfield, Mo., and Vernon Smith of Brokenbow, Okla.
A private family service was held. Burial was in the Lebanon IOOF Cemetery. Huston-Jost Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
