ALBANY — Edith Gibbs, 79, died Thursday.
She was born in Shedd and grew up in the Halsey area. She lived in Albany all of her adult life. She was a member of the Albany Eagles. Her husband, Dalton, whom she married in 1931, died in 1981.
Survivors include her son, Willard of White Salmon, Wash.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Friday in Pine Grove Cemetery in Halsey. Arrangements are by Fisher Funeral Home.
