BURIED 7 WEEKS AFTER MARRIAGE
SISTER OF RILEY S SMITH IS DEATH'S VICTIM; FUNERAL WAS TODAY
Seven weeks after her marriage with J.W. Hadley, a farmer and fruit raiser living near Medicine Park, Mrs. Hadley, a sister of Riley S. Smith, former county treasurer and daughter of Mrs. Mary E Smith, was buried in the Lawton Cemetery.
Death Came Sunday evening at 6 o?clock the result of an operation necessitated by a sudden illness. She died at the family home near Medicine Park. The funeral was held from the First Christian Church at 11 o?clock this morning, the Rev. A R. Spicer preaching the sermon.
Mrs. Hadley was well known in the city and county having been employed in the fifth ward schools. She leaves a husband, mother, five sisters and a brother.
