In the 1910 U.S. Census, Laura J. Trimble, 53, born Maine, father born Canada, mother born Ireland, was living in Boston, Mass. with lodgers Matilda Smith, 39 (sic0, born Maine, father born Maine, mother born Mass., married ; and other lodgers Joseph E. In the 1900 U.S. Census, medicine (?) salesman George O. Smith, 28, born June 1872 in Conn., father born N.Y, mother born Mass. was living in Haverhill, Mass. with Lillie E., 42, born August 1858 in Maine, parents born Maine; and lodgers shoe factory packer Charles J. George O. Smith, 26, born in Staffordville, Conn. married 41-year-old Matilda C. Trimble, born in South Robbinston, on June 10, 1899, in Haverhill, Mass. He was the son of Orlando Smith and Emily Davis, and she was the daughter of William Trimble and Elizabeth M. Mccready.
George was a shoemaker in Staffordville, and Matilda was a mill "Oper" in Robbinston. It was the first marriage for both.
