Eleanor A. (Smith) Boudreau, a 65 year resident of Charlestown, died on Friday June 29, 2007 at The Academy Nursing Home in Andover following an extended illness. She was 87 years old.
Eleanor was born in Madison, New Hampshire. She grew up there, where she attended her schooling there. She moved to Charlestown and has been a longtime member of The First Baptist Church In Charlestown.
Eleanor is the beloved wife of the late Harold Boudreau. She is the devoted mother of Deanna Hamilton and her husband Darrell of Haverhill, Carol F. Nolan of Charlestown, Harold Boudreau Jr. of California, and William J. Boudreau of Charlestown. She is the loving grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. She is the beloved sister of Leon Smith and Roy Smith both of Vermont, the late Esther Martin, Bernard Smith, Vera Sawtelle and Maenna Belknap.
Eleanor's Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday morning July 3, 2007 at 10 a.m. in the Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for Eleanor will be held on Monday July 2, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will take place at Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree.
